Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child is in full swing. The church has wrapped over 300 boxes and we need your help in filling them. You can pick yours up in the hall across from Janice's office. A box has also been placed in the hall to collect donated items. Monetary gifts are always greatly appreciated. Please put "Operation Christmas Child" on your check. What a wonderful way to honor or memorialize a loved one! Our goal is to collect 500 shoeboxes. Please keep in mind that this one, small shoebox is the only gift these children will receive for Christmas. Let's make it count!

Annual Bazaar

Preparation for the fall bazaar has already begun. We hope every member and friend of UMW will be involved in theis endeavor. This is our main fundraiser of the year and much of what we do depends on the success of the annual bazaar. Co-chairs Beth Wideman and Jennifer Jordan are available for any questions or comments. We need your prayers, your presence, your gifts and your service.

Childcare will be provided. Please contact Jennifer Jordan or Beth Wideman by November 8, 2009 ifyou need childcare the day of the bazaar!
